Technical SEO
Technical SEO: make sure Google can find, read and trust your pages
Great content does not rank if Google cannot crawl it, render it or tell which version is the real one. I find those problems and help you fix them at the root.
Who this is for
Sites with pages that are not showing up in Google, or that dropped after a redesign or migration.
JavaScript-heavy sites built with React, Angular, Vue or similar, where content may not be visible to search engines.
Large sites, ecommerce stores and multi-language sites where small technical issues multiply across thousands of URLs.
What is included
- Crawling: robots.txt, internal links, crawl traps and pages Googlebot cannot reach
- Indexing: noindex tags, “Crawled – currently not indexed” and “Discovered – currently not indexed” pages
- Site speed and Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) on mobile
- JavaScript rendering: comparing raw HTML with rendered HTML
- Duplicate pages, URL parameters and trailing-slash variants
- Redirects: chains, loops and old URLs that should point somewhere useful
- Canonical tags that agree with your sitemap and internal links
- Hreflang for sites targeting more than one country or language
- Schema markup (structured data) and validation
- XML sitemaps and robots.txt that match what you want indexed
How it works
1
Diagnose
I crawl the site, read your Search Console data and test key templates by hand.
2
Prioritise
Every issue is ranked by impact and effort, so the important fixes go first.
3
Fix
I write clear tickets for your developer, or work directly on the site if that suits you better.
4
Verify
I recheck each fix after it goes live and watch Search Console for the change.
What you get
- Technical issue list with example URLs and how to reproduce each problem
- Developer-ready tickets with the exact change needed
- Redirect maps for migrations and URL changes
- Schema markup ready to paste, validated with Google’s Rich Results Test
- Before and after notes so you can see what changed
Pricing: every site is different, so I quote after a quick look. Contact for pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Can you work with my developer?
Yes, that is the most common setup. I write the issue, the fix and how to test it, and your developer ships it. I am happy to join a call with them.
Do you help with site migrations?
Yes. Migrations are where most rankings are lost. I map old URLs to new ones, check redirects before launch and monitor indexing after it.
My site is built with JavaScript. Is that a problem?
Not always. It becomes a problem when key content, links or meta tags only appear after JavaScript runs. I test what Google actually sees and tell you if anything is missing.
Which platforms do you work with?
WordPress, Shopify, custom builds and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js. The principles are the same; the fixes differ by platform.
